Jesus served as our example by showing us how to help those around us. We need to support the person who has fallen by the wayside who is unable to get up or walk along with us.
When we love our neighbor as ourselves, we are sharing God's love. We might be called to do this in many ways -- physically, mentally, spiritually, or monetarily. And when we do this, we serve as a conduit for God to work through us to touch others.
